The one that hangs. Twenty-two feet of it sits over nothing but fern and air, and the deck sauna is out at the very end of it.

Closest to the water and the cheapest of the nine, which has nothing to do with the cabin and everything to do with the fact that the creek is loud.

Built around a bigleaf maple we could not bring ourselves to fell. The stair wraps it. The sauna sits under it.

Named for what grows on the bank behind it from mid-October. The stove is the biggest of the nine and it heats the place in fifteen minutes.

Sited in an old aggregate cut, which is why it is the only one you can reach without a step. Roll-in shower, transfer bench at the sauna.

The first one we finished, in the low ground where the fog collects and stays until noon. Two bedrooms, one very long table.

Two bathrooms, which sounds dull until you have shared one after three sauna rounds. West-facing, so it gets whatever light there is.

Ninety-four feet end to end and the only one that takes six. Booked most often by two families who have decided to like each other.
Nothing matches that.
Try loosening one filter — the cliff cabins do not sit on the creek, and vice versa.
The fine print
We do not run a resort fee, a service charge, a resort-access charge, or anything else invented in a meeting. The number you see is the number, plus 9.5% Tillamook County lodging tax and one cleaning fee per stay.
$145 for the two-person cabins, $175 for the four, $215 for Longhouse. Charged once per stay, not per night.
Two nights year round. Three over holiday weekends and between Christmas and New Year. We close 2–16 January.
Full refund up to 14 days out, less a $35 processing charge. Inside 14 days we refund whatever we manage to rebook, and we usually manage it. Inside 48 hours, nothing. We make no exception for weather — the fog is the product.

Seasonal rate bands
Book two consecutive stays in a calendar year and the second one drops to base rate regardless of month. We do not advertise this anywhere except here.
